By booking Memory Box, the Client agrees to the following terms that govern the rental and use of our photobooth services. These terms apply to all photobooth rentals for events including weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, mall activations, and private celebrations.

1. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for ensuring a suitable, secure setup space (minimum 10x10ft) with access to a standard power outlet (220V), and protection from direct rain or excessive heat/cold. The Client shall provide a flat, stable surface for photobooth placement. The Client shall cover any loss or damage to the photobooth equipment caused by misuse by guests, weather conditions beyond control, or negligence.

2. Service Period and Setup

The rental period is fixed as per the agreed booking time. Setup typically takes 30-45 minutes before the event start time. Any request for extension on the day must be approved by the attendant and will incur an additional fee per hour, payable immediately. Breakdown and equipment removal will occur after the rental period ends.

3. Photobooth Equipment and Usage

Memory Box provides state-of-the-art photobooth equipment including HD camera, instant printer, and digital processing systems. Clients receive all digital photos via secure cloud links within 48 hours of the event. Instant prints are provided during the event at no additional cost (included in package). Guests may take props and printed photos home as souvenirs.

4. Intellectual Property and Photo Usage

All photographs and videos captured by Memory Box equipment remain the intellectual property of Memory Box unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Clients and guests receive a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use images for personal, non-commercial use only. Commercial reproduction, resale, or use of images in advertising/marketing is prohibited without explicit written consent from Memory Box. Clients may share photos on personal social media platforms.

5. Equipment Protection and Liability

Clients are responsible for the safe operation and protection of the photobooth equipment during the rental period. Any damage, theft, or loss resulting from negligence or willful misconduct will be the Client's financial responsibility. Standard wear and tear is acceptable, but intentional damage or misuse will result in repair/replacement costs being billed to the Client. Our attendant will monitor equipment, but cannot be held responsible for theft or damage during event hours.

6. Payment Terms and Booking

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due in full one week before the event. Payment must be made via bank transfer, UPI, or cash. Failure to remit payment on time may result in automatic cancellation of your booking. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹).

7. Indemnification and Limitation of Liability

Memory Box is not responsible for any liability arising from the use of the photobooth by the Client or their guests. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Memory Box from any claims, actions, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of the Client's use of the services. Memory Box's liability is limited to the total amount paid for services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

For cancellation policies, please refer to our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy. In summary: cancellations 60+ days before event receive a refund minus the non-refundable deposit; cancellations 30-59 days receive 50% refund; cancellations less than 30 days receive no refund. In case of event postponement, we will attempt to reschedule at no additional charge, subject to availability.

9. Weather and Force Majeure

Memory Box will not be liable for cancellations or delays due to unforeseen circumstances including severe weather, natural disasters, or government-ordered event restrictions. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule your event at the earliest available date at no additional charge.

10. Modifications to Terms

Memory Box reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. For current terms, please visit our website at the time of booking.
